This piece was a continuation of my "Series of discovered specimens." Instead of creating the specimens alone, I decied to put them in an environment as well.
A Series of Discovered Specimens
These pieces are part of my capstone exhibition for my Bachelor's degree. My artist statement is a reflection of these pieces and their influences and inspirations. These pieces have been exhibited twice in Visceral Reflections and in EOU's Juried Student Show, both at Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, Oregon, in 2014. These pieces won best of show at the Juried Student Show.
